If you missed out on this weekend, you truly missed out on a historical event.  The
weekend kicked off with the 1st Annual Educational Enhancement Golf Classic at Los
Verdes Golf Course, ending the evening with the awards reception and social with a
preview of the choral groups past and present.  Saturday night's Jubilee Showcase was
awesome.  Words cannot even describe it.  You had to be there.  Order a DVD of the
weekend - you have to see it to believe it.  Everyone was dressed in their finest
formals.  Walking in on the red carpet with our version of "paparrazzi" made everyone
feel like a star.  The program kept everyone excited from start to finish.  We were all
on a spiritual high after Saturday, only to go into Sunday morning worship with an
inspiring message from Dr. Carl C. Baccus, Southside's minister for 50 years.  The
afternoon of singing, history and the Word of God flowed well into the evening.  
Everyone was blessed.  

    Special thanks to those who worked hard to plan this special weekend and all of the
